Simple expectations when you work with us
These terms describe how we run Slightly Better Websites, what you can expect, and what we need from you in return.
Using this site
You may browse the site to learn about our service and contact us. Do not attempt to disrupt the site, copy site content or code without permission, or use our materials for competing services.
Subscriptions & deliverables
Plans are billed monthly with a 12-month minimum commitment unless stated otherwise in writing. Once that term is complete, you can pause or cancel with 30 days’ notice, and we provide a full static export of your website. During an active subscription we continue to host, maintain, and update the site within the scope of your plan.
Your responsibilities
Provide accurate content, approvals, and brand assets. Confirm you have rights to everything you send us. Keep your billing method active so service is not interrupted. If an invoice remains unpaid for 30 days, we may pause work until the balance is cleared.
Intellectual property
You own your brand assets and custom content. We retain ownership of our internal tooling and production methods. After the minimum term is met and all invoices are paid, you have full rights to the finished website files.
Liability
Slightly Better Websites is provided “as-is.” We aim for reliable operation, but we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our responsibility, if any, is limited to fees paid for the service during the prior six months.
Updates
We may update these terms to reflect operational changes. When that happens, we will note the update date here and continue providing clear notice to active subscribers.
